TVC Set Design, Hyundai Coupe Launch

This large scale TVC set was designed for launch of a new model coupe.
It featured dramatic 6m high sloping walls, operable components (doors, fans, & lighting rigs), custom made and sourced props and furniture items, all of which had to be assembled on site in around 12 hours.
Yarra Films, Melbourne.
The set was pre-fabricated off-site, and then assembled in a large dockside warehouse in inner city Melbourne.
Walls were made using a steel framework clad in MDF, and than coated with a metallic industrial epoxy finish to emulate a precious metal.
The floor panels were made from fibrous cement sheets scenically painted, and various materials were used to fabricate free standing prop and set dressing items needed for the design.
