Mariana Hardwick fashion emporio (Melbourne)
A fashion emporio housed in an old warehouse which is in constant flux on par with fashion design.
Design was a collaborative mix by Fax and Phone call from Tokyo to Melbourne. How do a Couple of Designers in Tokyo respond to a brief to design for One of Australia's most formidable Fashion and Wedding designers ???.
The design response is a haptic collection of edits, cuts and Spatial Grafts as one walks through the Emporio, a sense of A David Lynch Film Meets Peter Greenway in Downtown Melbourne becomes apparent, as the space's have satellites of happening's, events' work, and gathering's.
Back of house near the designers workshop The Chandelier Room is for Small parties gathering and boroughs for Brides to be to Dress up and Parade on show.
The Throne Room was a combination of Designer Idea's and Marianna's response an eclectic collection of antique and retro mirrors cover the staring wall, and the Throne sits on a Stage with Chaise Lounge.

A mesh of Installation and Interior Plaster work and 3 metre high drapes of fabric with an excision of the existing floor front of house, found objects recycled, and reformed.
